Clark Fork Alberton Gorge August 5th 2006

It seems to always be a good day on the Clark Fork, especially when no one swims. This trip included Chris, Chris, and Shawn. Nothing was very big, but there were some fun waves at cliff side, and fang. The surfing at triple bridges was not great. The little wave just before tumbleweed was pretty nice and easy to catch. Tumbleweed was the smallest I have seen it, but still fun. A glassy wave after Tumbleweed was fun to hang out on. There was another wave in the glassy wave train that had a little bigger pile, and was super easy to catch. After we found out how to stay in Fang, it was fun, fast, and bouncy. Flow at Clark Fork below Missoula was 1,500. This was the lowest I have boated it.
