Escalante and Bryce June 16th - 17th 2008
A wonderful place to spend time with the family. We spent a little bit of time on the night of the 16th in the Devils Garden in Escalante. We spent a somewhat sleepless night under a full moon. Except for all the Escalante critters we were all alone. The morning of the 17th we went to Dry Fork and spent time in the Dry Fork narrows, and Spooky Gulch. That same day we drove over to Bryce and hiked the Navajo Loop trail. The trail was short, but included over 500 vertical feet up and down. Not to bad, unless you are a three year old. Alec did great. One lady along the trail stopped to get her picture with him. Here is a video of Alec in Spooky Gulch video
