Grand Canyon June 20th - July 5th 2011
A great place with great people. The big rapids seemed to be Hermit, Granite, and Sockdolager. Hance was run on the left, and Lava was run on the far far left. Pete took the sporty right side run, which was great. Crystal seemed like the same right side run, just a bit bigger. Most of the gems seemed washed out. The flow was about 24,000. Many great hikes. I thought the highlight hike was Havasu. It was also nice to get into the Silver Grotto. It took some good climbing skills from Alex to lead the way all the way back in.
