Lower Salmon August 26th - 29th 2010



This was a great trip. Alec's first Multi day river trip was a huge success. We had fun swimming rapids, playing on the beach, sliding down boats, and just being on the river with great people. The night of the 26th we took a long drive to a campground just outside of Lewiston Idaho. The next morning, after getting the pathfinder to a mechanic. The muffler broke, and was shooting hot exhaust right into the bottom of the pathfinder. I did not know until we were getting the back ready for us to sleep, and the kayak bag was melted to the floor. In one picture you can see Alec's life jacket with black waffle marks where the kayakbag had melted onto his jacket. We drove to the river with the Tenbrinks, and the rest was 3 great days of fun and warm water on the lower Salmon.
