Maybird
What a beautiful place. Standing at the head of Maybird is the Pfeifferhorn massif.
Getting to Maybird takes any where from 1.5 to 3 hours. Even if it does take 3
hours it is worth the hike. One of the great things to do is ski all the way to the
road. I have done this a couple times. One day it was wonderful, and one day it was
horrible. Another fun option is to go to the top of the Pfeifferhorn.
This is probably best done by going up Red Pine and crossing over the ridge into Dry Creek
and then accessing the east or the west ridge and going up.
