Mount Ellis Feb. 26th 2005
Good sunny outing. Snow was a bit odd. There was about 6 inches of really nice snow on top, but underneath that there was about 4 feet of depth hoar. Not really , but that was what it felt like. Trip included Aaron Jay and Me. It took us about an two hours and 25 minutes to get to the top. That included one short break, a break to apply skin wax, and a break to dig a snow pit.
