Mount Moran May 22nd-23rd 2009
My wife asked me when we got home: "did you have fun?" I was not quite sure how to answer her. Ultimately the answer was yes, but in an
adventurous suffering sort of way. It took us about 4 hours and 50 minutes from our camp at the foot of the glacier to make it to the top.
At times during the climb, Kartchner was more energetic, and at other times, I had more energy. We switched off putting in a boot pack,
until we finally made it to the top. It was well worth the suffering. The skiing in the handle, and part way down the pan was great.
After a while the snow became just mush. Overall it was a great day in the mountains.
