Great mountain adventure with Darren. We ended up booting up 95% of the mountain because of difficult skinning. We found
booting conditions that included, waist deep snow, to very hard snow. The boot up was very enjoyable, with beautiful views,
and a fun workout. Temperatures at Bridger Bowl ranged from 6 below to 10 above. So the top was to say the least frigid.
Taking off your glove brought on feelings of painful cold. Skiing down was great with about 3 inches on top of a variable
crust. The crust was often hard enough to stay on top, but just as often it was soft enough to break through and hold your
skis. The top of the mountain included wide open big mountain face skiing, we funneled down into a nice long chute, and
ended on the bottom apron.
